Questions

What exactly am I buying?
A non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the clip in commercial work — ads, social, web, apps, broadcast, print. You download a 1080p MP4 with the license text and the disclosure line beside it.
Do I own the footage?
No. This is a license, not an assignment. adstock retains all rights, title and interest it holds in the asset, including any copyright to the extent one subsists, and licenses the same asset to other customers. Nobody selling AI footage can honestly promise you an exclusive copyright — a purely AI-generated frame may not be copyrightable at all.
Are the performers real people?
No. Every performer is generated from a text prompt with an explicit instruction not to resemble any real person or public figure. No real face or voice was used as input.
Do I have to disclose that the actor is AI?
Where your jurisdiction requires it, yes — New York GBL §396-b requires a conspicuous synthetic-performer disclosure in advertising from June 2026. We ship the disclosure line with every clip; carrying it is your side of the license.
Can I use a clip as a customer testimonial?
Only as a labeled dramatization. FTC rules (16 CFR 465 and 255) treat an undisclosed AI persona reading a testimonial as a fake review. Label it "Dramatization. Not a real customer."
What if a clip is unusable?
Ask for a refund or a replacement render within 30 days. If a clip is ever withdrawn after a rights complaint, you get the same choice.
